Embassy Interview Preparation Service

Preparation service for Fiancé's in Russian speaking countries who are preparing to attend their K1 visa interview.

This service is provided in Russian and is designed to help your Fiancé know exactly what to expect before she arrives at the Embassy.

Why should I request this service?

While going to the American Embassy may sound simple, it is actually a very stressful step in the immigration process. The Embassy and Consulates are only located in a few key cities, causing many to travel and stay there for several days during the process. This means planning ahead, packing, scheduling exams, interviews and a place to stay. Any detail that is overlooked could cause problems, cost money or build reasons for self doubt that this is the right choice.

Isn't the interview just a formality?

The interview is the first time the State Department has met the person you've been telling the USCIS about for the last 6 to 9 months. It's actually a test of sorts to ensure everything is legitimate. Your Fiance will have to provide police reports, pass a medical exam and be able to comfortably tell the "story" of how she met her Fiance in the United States. If any part of this process is suspicious the embassy officials will question in more detail and possibly deny the petition.

How much does it Cost?

The cost of the service is $60 and covers the following:

Can I be on the line during the phone call?

The interview is conducted in Russian for the benefit of the Fiancé attending the Embassy interview. A third party could slow down the process or confuse matters during the consult. To keep the time and costs down we do not permit a third person on the call, but we document everything discussed and send a report to the American Fiancé on what was reviewed and any outstanding issues that may exist.
